National Scholarship

What kind of applicants is the AADF looking for the National Scholarship?

To fulfill the mission of the program, AADF is looking for promising students that demonstrate high academic performance and active citizenship and/or participation in extracurricular activities or projects.

AADF Scholarship Program targets talented youth in Albania, who want to advance their education with a dual or foreign degree of international standard. The age group of selected scholarship recipients is 18-29 and varies from education institution (please refer to the eligibility criteria under each Partner Institution).

After careful consideration of the Partner Institutions’ academic offer and their alignment with our Program’s goal, AADF Scholarship Program will support with partial scholarships programs at Holberton Albania, RIT Tirana and College of Europe (Tirana Campus), for this cohort.

Yes, but to ensure the equal opportunities for every applicant, our Program will cover the tuition fee through scholarship for one education institution only. Also, keep in mind that for a full application, you should submit the approval letter from the education institution you are applying to. If you will be selected for a scholarship, you may need to determine the education institution via email.

The AADF Program Scholarship will cover either partial or full tuition fees, depending on the institution, for the entire duration of the study program. For example, if a student is awarded a partial scholarship for a Bachelor’s degree, the agreed portion of the tuition fee will be covered for all academic years, provided the student continues to meet the renewal criteria.

Yes, you are allowed to consider other funding sources for partial scholarships only. However, you need to declare these sources in your application, specifically the Financial Aid and Awards section.

Please refer to the timeline displayed under each Partner Institution section. We would encourage you not to leave the application for the last day, to avoid any potential technical issues.

You should expect a detailed email with the information, amount of scholarship, terms and conditions, shortly after the first email of selection. You can choose to accept or decline the scholarship award, by replying to this email.
