National Scholarship

The National Scholarship Program is a central component of AADF’s efforts to support talented students and strengthen the local higher education system.

This initiative will focus on:
Supporting Local Universities
Providing partial scholarships to students studying in Albania at institutions with established dual degree programs with international affiliations.
Collaborating with Top Institutions

AADF will partner with renowned local and international educational institutions to offer high-quality academic opportunities for students within the country.

Founded in 2015 in Silicon Valley, Holberton School offers an alternative to traditional college education, training the next generation of full-stack engineers through a project-based curriculum focused on hands-on, real-world learning. In 2021, the school expanded globally with a new campus in Tirana, Albania, aiming to boost economic growth, employability, and reverse brain drain in the Balkans.

AATT (American Academy of Technology Tirana) in partnership with RIT NY (Rochester Institute of Technology New York) are introducing the American approach to curriculum development, as well as study and research programs. Albanian students will benefit from the same high-quality education and graduate with the same diploma as RIT New York students.

The College of Europe, established on the initiative of Hague Congress is the oldest postgraduate institute of European studies. The newly established campus of the College of Europe in Tirana (2024) offers an advanced Master of Arts in European Transformation and Integration – The EU in Southeastern Europe.

By partnering with these institutions, the National Scholarship Program seeks to offer world-class education within the country. This initiative aims to reduce the necessity for students to study abroad for high-quality education and help mitigate the brain drain issue Albania faces.
